We are always open to work with any individuals or organisations building beyond the Labour Party. The fight against racial capitalism, imperialism and the climate crisis demands us to make unflinching decisions.

Dear members of Labour in Exile, Socialist Appeal, Labour Against the Witchhunt, Resist, and all Labour members questioning their party,

We write to you in the spirit of comradely criticism, and in the conditions of dire need that the proletarian movement has today.

The recent termination of your organisations’ memberships of the Labour Party is part of a series of moves to consolidate Keir Starmer’s vision of the Labour Party. That is, of an unapologetic wing of the bourgeois class.

We must stress that this is not a new direction, but simply a new presentation. We differ with many of you on the significance of the Corbyn era; there is no meaningful difference between the party of Blair who voted for the Iraq war, and the party of Corbyn who were permitted to vote to bomb Syria. The Labour Party have remained firmly rooted in the interests of the Labour Aristocracy, and invested in imperialism.

The Labour Party seems to itself recognise that winning in 2024 is a longshot, with a swing bigger than any in history needed to win before 2028. Can the broad left afford to spend another decade canvassing for opportunists, or desperately recreating the failed projects of the past? We compel you to discard of your nostalgia for the Corbyn project, or the hopes that “this time, it’ll work” and join us in the streets and workplaces where revolution is being built.

Labour have only achieved to sap the collective strength of the left. They are a black hole, pulling people towards the interests of the Labour Aristocracy and reducing meaningful leftist opposition to dust. Imagine if instead of being wasted in losing election campaigns, we were to utilise the energy, resources and people in Labour’s orbit for a revolutionary movement of the working classes. A movement that could far transcend the false hopes, meagre promises and sustained global violence that Labour have and always will perpetuate.

We are always open to work with any individuals or organisations building beyond the Labour Party. The fight against racial capitalism, imperialism and the climate crisis demands us to make unflinching decisions. To leave Labour now is not cowardice; it is necessary bravery for the sake of the struggle.

Yours in love and solidarity,

The Central Committee Red Fightback
