The Bristol Rent Strike campaign is carrying on the struggle with another wave of action;

We’re launching our January Rent Strike. Uni of Bristol students sign up here tinyurl.com/lockdownstrike We’ve already won £3.6 million for students and no repercussions but we can win more It’s time for @BristolUni to stop prioritising Hugh Brady’s salary and put students first
Hugh Brady is the top boss at the Uni who aimed to get some good press at the start of the pandemic by ‘voluntarily donating’ £20K of his salary to both the student hardship fund and back to the university. However, given as he’d been one of the top paid University execs in 2019, earning well over £320K, that hardly means he’s struggling to make ends meet, as some students are.
