Shawn P. Wilbur is offering the year-long workshop on anarchist history and theory called Constructing Anarchisms that was previously reported on here on anarchistnews.org. Shawn will be suggesting the readings for the first three quarters of the year, leaving the fourth quarter for independent study and construction of the anarchism project. As a gesture toward accessibility for more people, Immediatism will endeavor to provide podcast episodes for the assigned readings for the first three quarters. The first two readings are available in podcast form now. These are “History, Tradition, Theory,” by Shawn P. Wilbur, which discusses the anarchist milieu. The other is “On Synthesis” by Voline, in two episodes, about diversity and multiplicity in the anarchist synthesis of ideas.
