A 15-year-old teenager accused of undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities was released from a pre-trial detention center in Kansk. Nikita Uvarov, a 15-year-old anarchist and a defendant in the “case of the Kansk teenagers”, was released from the pre-trial detention center, lawyers Vladimir Vasin and Tatyana Galeeva reported. This is the same case where the schoolchildren were detained for blowing up the FSB building in Minecraft.

Several schoolchildren are accused of being “in order to change the state and political system existing in the Russian Federation <…>, as well as revenge for unfairly and erroneously, in their opinion, convicted like-minded people, including persons from the“ Network ”community, recognized terrorist organization, <…> were trained in order to carry out further terrorist activities – committing a terrorist act on the territory of Kansk.

Uvarov was in jail for almost 11 months. Recently, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court ruled illegal the extension of custody of April 6, 2021. No other preventive measure was taken against him.

Uvarov does not admit his guilt.
