The TUC is calling on all unions, faith groups, community organisations and supporters in the anti racist movement to join a day of mobilisation on 18 February using the hashtag #NoRacismNoFascism across social media platforms to build support, awareness and participation as broadly and widely as possible for the global day of protest on 20 March.
Here are a number of things you can do to support the mobilisation:
- Add our custom made Facebook filter to your profile picture to build awareness for UN Anti Racism Day â web.facebook.com/profilepicframes/?selected_overlay_id=3845720698813328
- Download our poster, take a picture with it and tag us â@Antiracismdayâ on Twitter using the hashtag #NoRacismNoFascism & #WorldAgainstRacism, â@Stand Up To Racismâ on Facebook, and â@Standuptoracismukâ on Instagram.
- Invite your family and friends to our international rally on Saturday 20 March 5pm GMT: https://fb.me/e/fzdKReOfI
If you would like support and ideas for what you could do in your workplace (virtually or physically), college, street, community etc, please email us at email@example.com to find out what is happening in your area or for ideas of how you can support and join the day of action.
For trade union Stand Up To Racism supporters, the conference (online) on 27 February will be a crucial space to discuss, learn from and organise with hundreds of other trade union anti racist activists to fight for anti racist workplaces and to deliver strong trade union involvement for UN Anti Racism Day of protest on 20 March.
